SIMON Tempest Brown of Thorverton took these images of a steam engine making its way up through Union Road and Crediton High Street along the A377 towards Copplestone during the morning of Saturday, August 4.

Where the engine and trailer it was towing were bound is unsure but it certainly made a spectacle for shoppers and passers-by.
