THE A377 is to be shut overnight at Cowley Bridge for resurfacing for two weeks.

The road will be closed from the Cowley Bridge roundabout to just north of the junction with St Andrews Road from Tuesday, March 10 until Tuesday, March 24 between 8pm and 6am on weeknights only.

A Devon County Council spokesperson said: “For approximately the first four nights, three-way temporary traffic lights will be used to maintain access to the A396 Stoke Road and Wrefords Drive. Delays should be expected.

“For approximately the last five nights, the roundabout will be closed from 8pm to 6am.

“Variable message signs in the vicinity of the work area will show the specific dates for the roundabout closures.”
