ON Tuesday, July 1, Fred Oliver, outgoing president of Crediton Boniface Rotary Club, handed over the reigns of the Club to Rotarian Jane Brimacombe.

She will be assisted by the new vice president, Paul Fallon.

Fred reflected on a very successful year when they it had donated a total of £7,673.

This was to the following local charities:

Amber Foundation - Chawleigh - £1,473, Hospiscare - Exeter - £3,500, Force - Exeter - £1,000, Crediton Playscheme - £1,000, Crediton Age Concern - £500 and Newton St Cyres Community Association - £200.

Jane said that she planned to continue the club’s tradition of supporting local charities and organisations.

Crediton Boniface Rotary meets on Tuesday evenings.
