MORE than 60 children and nearly as many adults went along to the ninth children’s Hallowe’en Party held in Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall, which was well-decorated and very spooky.

There was a great spread of Hallowe’en food, balloons and party games, including pass the parcel for the children.

The winners in the Over Six fancy dress competition were: Girls 1 Holly Skinner, 2 Paige Mannion, 3 Elena Purchase. Boys 1 Zephy Corthorn, 2 Archie Tonkin, 3 Ben Crumpler.

Children also took along pumpkins which had cut out grinning faces and the winners were: 1 Jamie Wallace, 2 Lottie and Paige Mannion, who all received prizes presented by Terry Meakin.

Everyone agreed the party was a great success.
