AS part of the refurbishment of Crediton Methodist Church which is currently under way, the downstairs toilets are being revamped.

On Saturday April 6, from 4pm, there will be a fun evening held in the downstairs community room to raise money towards twinning the new toilets with those in countries in the poorest parts of the world.

This is an initiative run by Tear Fund.

Tickets are priced at £5 which will include a meal (children under 15 free).

Those attending are asked to take along to donate, 10p coins for some “penny” games, and some 2p coins towards a “mile of pennies”.
