ON Thursday, November 21, I came home from work to hear the sad news that my cat had been knocked down.

I went to the St Boniface Veterinary Practice where he had been taken.

To my relief he was alive but had a broken leg, which sadly had to be amputated.

What I am getting at is that not only myself but other residents of Barnfield are absolutely fed up of speeding cars.

Also the school coaches come down the hill at great speed for a residential area.

It is about time they all slowed down before someone gets seriously injured or, even worse, killed.

We all think that speed bumps might sort out the problem.

I don't understand why there are no speed bumps there already, considering it is the road up to the Lower School.

Kill speed, not people.
