DESPITE the constraints of Covid-19, people in Cheriton Fitzpaine were determined to celebrate VE Day.

Flags and bunting hung from windows, and some enterprising families held "Social Distancing Tea Parties".

Older people self-isolating were not left out as Lesley Rogers took scones to them, too.

Many residents in the Tower Hill area dressed in clothes from the 40’s era.
