A LOCAL youngster has won a skate deck.

Miles took part in the competition at the Crediton Town Council and Mid Devon District Council skate park consultation held at the Lords Meadow skate park a few months ago.

He is one of the two winners of a deck each donated by Skate Warehouse.

Miles is planning to decorate the deck himself and hopes that Mid Devon District Council upgrade the skate park soon "so that it is safe to skate on".
