THE annual Neighbourhood Food Collection was recently held at the Crediton Tesco store at Wellparks in partnership with FoodShare, one of Tesco’s two charity partners.

Staff at the store, together with members of Crediton Foodbank handed shoppers a list of goods needed by the food bank and collected donations of food from generous shoppers who were able to give.

The Foodbank is a Christians Together in Crediton initiative which supports families and individuals struggling to put food on the table in Crediton and the surrounding area.

The Foodbank is very grateful to all the shoppers who gave so generously and enabled 30 families to receive Christmas Hampers.

There was an amazing contribution and the Foodbank which is now well stocked. A collection box will be put up at the Tesco Wellparks store when supplies run low.
