The first event in the town will be the Fiver Fest, with lots of great £5 offers which will run for one week from June 8 -15 and aims to encourage people to support their local businesses.
The Totally Locally National Fiver Fest will run in many other cities, towns and villages across the UK in support of local high streets.
If every adult in Crediton spent just £5 a week in the town’s independent shops and businesses instead of online or in the big supermarkets it would be worth more than £4.5 million per year going into our local economy, which means more jobs, better facilities and a nicer place to live.
