WELL done, Alan, it was great to read in last week's Courier that you have been recognised and rewarded of all your efforts. We both attended the old Copplestone School on Shirley Corner, where we received a third-of-a-pint of milk and could buy two Rich Tea biscuits for one old penny. I have watched your career blossom with much interest, serving our local community with the news and views from Crediton and surrounding areas. Alan, continue to carry out your good work but for five minutes, stand still and feel very proud! Best wishes. Margaret Manning Colebrooke
