UNTIL May 8, local artist Pam Cox will have an exhibition of 18 of her pastel and mixed media paintings hanging in the Learning Centre at RHS Gardens Rosemoor, Torrington.

Pam, from Morchard Bishop, comes from an artistic background.

Her grandfather, parents and siblings are all artists and although she was initially a secretary, she says: “the beautiful South West countryside, with the colour of its ever-changing seasons inspired me to paint.”

She added: “My art portrays the quintessential Devon landscapes of winding lanes, flower meadows, rivers and the magnificent coastline of North Devon.

“Over the years many visitors from the UK and abroad, have taken home with them just a little flavour of our stunning county by buying a ’Pam Cox’ painting.”

Pam regularly exhibits her art work at regional Art Fairs and Country Shows and also attends both Tavistock and Barnstaple Pannier Markets on a regular basis.

Pam will be at the Learning Centre at RHS Rosemoor, Torrington most Sunday’s from 12 noon to 4pm if anyone would like to meet her and she will have limited signed prints available there, plus greeting cards.
