A MORCHARD Bishop man who repairs donated bicycles and sells them in aid of the Devon-based charity, Rainbow Living, will be selling 30 bikes on a first-come, first-served basis from 9am to 4pm at Tucker’s Country Store, Commercial Road, Crediton, on Saturday, November 18.

Anthony Wright, better known as Curly, said he has bikes “of all types, child, ladies, gent and racing bikes”, some of which he added are “sought after models”.

Curly will be located in the car park at Tucker’s Country Store.

He explained that Rainbow Living is a volunteer-run charity which supports adults with disabilities, mainly learning disability, by providing accommodation to enable tenants to live with their peers as independently as possible in supported living.

He said the charity had three Rainbow Houses in Devon, two in Exeter and one in Torquay.

He added that if anyone had any unwanted bikes, then could they please take them along to Tucker’s Country Store on Saturday, November 18 between 9am and 4pm.

Alternatively, he can be contacted on 07816 342824 or email: [email protected] .
