DUE to the current COVID-19 situation, Sarah’s Barber Shop has had to make a some changes.

The Salon will re-open on Saturday, July 4, but proprietor Sarah Snell explained that she will re-open with a non-appointment system on Mondays and Tuesdays, but with limited waiting space due to social distancing.

She added that during the rest of the week she will be running an appointment system using “Nearcut”.

Sarah explained: “This can be found as an android or IOS app or via the link on google and our Facebook page.

“The app is now live and we will look forward to welcoming customers.

“We have also decided to help us catch up with all our customers that we will be opening on Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm for a few weeks.

“We are now able to take card payments as well as cash. Please follow social distancing guidelines.

“Arrive for your appointments only five minutes prior to avoid mass numbers and please can we ask you come alone unless accompanying a child.

“Face coverings must be worn upon entering the salon for the entire service where possible.

“We do understand there will be certain exceptions such as medical/small children. There is hand sanitiser just inside the main door for all customers to use and the salon and equipment is sterilised between each customer.

“All staff will be wearing the relevant PPE in order to keep everybody safe, so please can we ask you don’t not come to the salon if you are feeling unwell or are showing any symptoms of Covid-19.

“We would much rather you rearrange your appointment. We can’t wait to see everybody and for you to see the newly decorated salon!”
