A CHRISTMAS lights display outside a home in Sandford raised £295.60 for Breast Cancer Care.

The display, at 41 Meadowside Road, created by members of the Northcote family, included reindeer, Father Christmas, stars, bells, Christmas trees, snowmen, fairy lights and much more.

People were invited to go along and see the display and make donations.

On behalf of the family, Lucy Northcote said: “A massive thank you to every single person who donated to dad’s Christmas lights!

“We are over the moon to tell you a fantastic £195.60 was donated via the donation box outside and we reached our £100 target on the Just Giving page, so in total an absolutely amazing amount of £295.60 was raised for Breast Cancer Care.

“Thank you so much to everyone who did donate. It means a lot. Let’s hope the money goes towards helping others fight this horrid disease as amazingly as my aunty did.”
