SANDFORD Craft Fair is a popular and established art and craft fundraising event, drawing in lots of visitors and stallholders from across Devon.

This year it will take place on Saturday, November 18 at Sandford Parish Hall from 11am to 4pm.

There will be 35 stalls selling local art, crafts and handmade gifts, including pottery, leather, basket, wood, glass and metal work, textiles, mixed media, paintings, prints, photography, handmade cards, lots of jewellery, handmade soaps, chocolates, fudges, and other yummy treats.

As well as the old favourites, new stalls this year include jewellery made from upcycled silver cutlery, clothing and bags and a range of paintings, cards and prints of local scenes by a local artist.

There is the Craft Fair Café with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices; the craft raffle made up of quality prizes donated by the stallholders themselves, and the very popular Children’s Craft Activities on the stage area.

The main fundraising focus for this year’s fair will be Hospiscare and Rowcroft “Hospice at Home” care services.

Friends of Sandford School (FOSS) will be running the Craft Fair Café, which raises funds for creative projects in school.
