MEMBERS of the Sandford Branch of the Central Devon Conservatives enjoyed a festive meal and party at Sandford Parish Hall on November 25.

Chairman of the branch, Peter Heal, prepared and cooked the main course, the choice of two delicious casseroles, beef or pork, with accompanying vegetables.

There was also a large selection of puddings made by members, plus cheese and biscuits and coffees.

Leader of Mid Devon District Council, Clive Eginton, gave a short talk, which was followed by Carol Singing led by Peter Heal, with Evelyn Coren at the piano.

Everyone agreed it was a most enjoyable evening.
