LOCAL care charity, Hospiscare has received a £60 donation, thanks to a yarn-bombing event, which took place in a Crediton cafe.

Caroline Ward not only yarnbombed East Town Cafe, she produced knitted people based on actual customers of the cafe who then had an opportunity to take them home and donate to Hospiscare.

The cafe owner Lucy Betts said: "I have never seen so many knitted people in one place, I particularly like the knitted me."

She also thanked Caroline who, she said: "Spent many hours crafting in wool regular customers at the cafe."
