MEMBERS of Crediton Boniface Rotary Club have been donating their time by helping out in the Age Concern shop due to a shortage of volunteers.

Rotarians Paul Radnor, Mike Davis (President) and Shelia Ralph have been doing two-hour stints from 10am to 12 noon and from 12 noon to 2pm to help keep the shop open.

Paul explained: “The shop needed volunteers and we felt that, at the time, temporary practical help was better for Age Concern than donating money.”

Shop manager, Tracy Mcilwaine said: “Thank you so much to Crediton Boniface Rotary Club for donating their time.

“Since the start of the pandemic it has been difficult getting volunteers to work in the shop.

“We are very grateful to Rotary for stepping in and helping to keep the shop open.”

The shop still needs volunteers so if you are able to help please telephone Tracy on 01363 774760 (between 9am and 3.30pm from Tuesday to Friday).

Alternatively, pop into the shop at 50 High Street, Crediton.
