A CREDITON road will close for up to 12 weeks from Wednesday, April 5, to allow a scaffolding firm to erect scaffolding for a thatcher to carry out urgent works to a property.

The works are required at White Cottage in Belle Parade and the road will close from Crediton Library to the junction of Church Street in the town.

Access to nearby properties will be maintained, wherever possible during the closure and an alternative route will be signed.

If the thatching work is completed quicker than anticipated, the road closure will cease and the road re-open.
