A TEMPORARY five-week road closure at Newton St Cyres has been announced by Devon County Council to enable road widening work to be carried out at Station Road.

It is anticipated that the work between Station Road and the A377 junction to Court Orchard junction will take place from Monday, March 20, with an anticipated finish of Friday, April 28.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via Station Cross, Norton Cross, Wainscot Cross, Langford Road, A377 and vice-versa.
