A SUMMER Fayre held at Ridge House Residential Home at Morchard Bishop on Saturday, August 26, raised £510 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The residents of the home decided on the choice of charity and there was a real effort by many people to make it a huge success.

Staff and family of residents ran stalls, a tombola, helped with refreshments or donated items.

Beth Cheffings, manager, said: “We would like to thank everyone who contributed, donated and came on the day.

“It was a huge success for a great charity and everyone was incredibly generous.”
