MANY people from across Crediton and the area took part in a fifth national applause of thanks to key, care and health workers helping in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday, April 23.
Nearly every person in Meadow Gardens, Crediton, took part and, again, many pots and pans were also bashed and musical instruments played.
The organisers of the Clap for Carers campaign started it online and said it was being staged because "during these unprecedented times, (NHS staff) need to know we are grateful".
A number of national landmarks were lit up especially to say thank you on this occasion and during previous weeks.
