MORE than 50 people were mesmerised by the archive photographs and stories presented by Chris Chapman the renowned documentary photographer of life on Dartmoor at Crediton Library on April 10.

During his presentation, "Wild Goose and Riddon", the images reflected not only a time gone by but also examples of how the moor is changing in modern times as well as how much more is being discovered about its long history.

Chris was able to not only inform but to make the audience laugh and cry in equal measure. It was a most memorable evening.

The evening was organised by the Friends of Crediton Library as part of their winter programme of events and was sponsored by Charlesworth Nicholl Solicitors.

The Friends welcome anyone who would like to support the work of the Library in the community.
