THE Well Being Centre in Crediton has welcomed two new practitioners to its team.

The complementary health centre at the corner of St Saviours Way now has seven professional and caring therapists offering 12 different therapies, whose aim is to "relax, revitalise and transform".

Sanchi Howe is the new swedish massage practitioner at the Centre.

She said: "I feel more and more people want to take responsibility for their own health and well being.

"Massage is such a kind, caring, therapy for the mind and body - it is no wonder it is so popular.

"You don't have to travel miles to an expensive Spa - be green and come to your local Well Being Centre here in Crediton and experience the gentle healing power of massage."

Helen Githiomi has also just joined the team.

She is a physiotherapist, massage and bodywork practitioner, clinical and pastoral counsellor and spiritual healer.

She also facilitates workshops on the creative power of thought, soul awareness and healing and offers courses on meditation and healing.

It is two and a half years since Sarah-Jayne took on the Well Being Centre.

She said: "These are very exciting additions to our team.

"The centre is going from strength to strength.

"We now offer 13 different therapies, meaning we have something for everyone.

"Recent successes also include delivering stress reduction sessions to Exeter University staff and raising £94 for ShelterBox."
