IN reply to Views on the News: "Shops in Crediton cut down on plastic use" which appeared in the "Courier" on April 13, I agree that individuals should recycle as much as they can.

I believe wholeheartedly in "Reduce, Reuse and Recycle".

However, manufacturers, supermarkets, fast food outlets and all retailers should take responsibility and use less plastic packaging.

It may even need government legislation.
