THERE was much fun and energy when Cheriton Bishop Primary School went red, white and blue for the afternoon on Friday, May 18, as part of celebrations for the Royal wedding.
The playground had been turned into the dancing area for a ceilidh, benches and chairs brought out, with refreshments with cakes and cupcakes made by parents and PTA members who served everything, including lots of soft drinks, on such a warm afternoon.
Union flags and the Stars and Stripes were hung around as well as red, white and blue bunting transforming the play area. There was a lucky dip and a tombola among the other attractions.
Music and singing was organised by staff members Mr and Mrs Miners.
