LANDSCORE Primary School welcomed new Reception children into its Early Years Unit in September and the school is happy to report that all the children have all settled really well and are enjoying their school experience.

They made a Guy and completed firework paintings for Bonfire night; roasted marshmallows; explored the school – the playground, the library and worked on a joint project for anti-bullying week with the older pupils.

They recently looked at the book "Owl Babies" and used it as a base for phonics and numeracy activities. The children have also started practising for their nativity play together with Year 1 children.

Landscore Primary School is holding Taster sessions for pupils due to start school in September 2019.

These begin today, Friday, November 23, from 2pm to 3pm and Friday, November 30, from 2pm to 3pm.

Children are welcome to attend either or just one of the sessions. Parents are welcome to stay and play with their children or alternatively drop them off and collect them again at 3pm.
