The Chris Bramston trophy was donated to QECC by his mother in 1995, in memory of her son.

At her request the trophy was intended for pupils who illustrated sporting prowess as they finished their time at lower school and started their time at upper school.

The trophy has been re-introduced this year since it was last awarded in 1999.

Previous recipients include Stuart Hooper who now plays professional Rugby at Bath Rugby Club.

Criteria for this year's award were decided as the following:

Consistently achieves National Curriculum average or above in most PE activity areas.

Has represented QECC at any sport

Achieved with recognition in sports outside of school.

Colin Skinner, PE Learning Area, QECC said: "Together, these two pupils have been role models to other students and are true assets to QECC.

"They fully deserve this trophy for all their commitment, motivation and achievements. A huge congratulations to the both of them, they are stars in the making!"
