YEAR 10 Queen Elizabeth’s School students on work experience have learnt about the construction industry.
The pupils took part in Building Greater Exeter’s yearly construction work experience week alongside other Ted Wragg Trust schools.
The five-day programme included bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and roofing workshops, team-building activities, site visits, and career discussions, all led by industry professionals and tutors.
“The energy, enthusiasm and talent we have seen this week confirms that the future of construction is in great hands,” said Building Greater Exeter Project Manager Luke Moss.
Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust CEO Moira Marder added: “At the Ted Wragg Trust we believe education should open doors to every possible pathway, including through hands-on learning outside the classroom.”
