RESIDENTS in Mid Devon are being urged to share their views about council services provided by Mid Devon District Council.
A new residents’ survey, “Let’s Talk Mid Devon 2022”, opened on November 1 and the Council is encouraging everyone to take part, to share their views and priorities for their council.
The survey is open for six weeks and the results will feed into the Council’s budget setting process, as well as future plans for prioritising services.
This year’s survey continues on from last year’s, with questions that include topics such as climate change and dealing with economic pressures, as well as listening to how communities feel about current service provision and where MDDC can improve.
The survey is anonymous and a summary of the results will be published on the Council website.
Leader of the Council, Bob Deed, said: “This is a chance for Mid Devon residents to say what kind of district they would like to live in.
“Their views are crucial in helping us to build on the steps we have already taken as we shape the best services possible for us all, for our environment and our future.”
The survey can be completed online (https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/MidDevonRS22) and should take no more than 10 minutes.
Those who need help completing the survey, or require a paper copy, are invited to contact MDDC Customer Services on 01884 255255. The deadline for responses is December 15, 2022.
