HAILED a resounding success, Stockleigh Pomeroy Christmas Fayre raised an amazing total of £882, for Church funds.

There were delicious refreshments served throughout, plus a number of stalls, including Christmas bric-a-brac, honey and candles, hand-made china cake stands, books, a variety of crafts and lots more.

There was also a grand draw, run by vice chairman of the Village Hall committee Tony Taylor, with superb prizes including vouchers.
