A COFFEE morning held at the General Sir Redvers Buller pub on Saturday March 21 raised £86 for VHAC, Vulval Health Awareness Campaign.

The campaign is aimed at promoting self examination amongst women to help in the early diagnosis of vulval cancer.

Every year more than 1000 women are affected by the disease, and early diagnosis can reduce the chances of the disease spreading throughout the body.

Thanks go to Mark Cooper, manager of the General Sir Redvers Buller, Robert Oliver of Force, Rob Blinkhorn of Madaboutmotorcycles magazine, Sam Manicom, author, Sky TV, Albion Motorcycles, Exeter and Fabia Brackenbury, who founded the charity and other donors.
