ZEAL Monachorum Summer Fete, held in the beautiful garden of Napleton House, was held to raise funds for St Peter’s Church on June 29 and was a most enjoyable event.
There were many stalls, games and attractions, including cream teas, with delicious home-made cakes - all served in the courtyard.
Becky Harvey and Sue Bostock made Pimms and Tina Bowyer served ice cream and strawberries.
There were swings and climbing frames for the children, young Adam Lewis organised the Splat the Rat competition and he also won the competition to “Guess how many balloons were inside Doris?”, the immaculate Morris Minor car.
Mike Bostock ran the Wellie Throwing and local band, Clothyard Angels played throughout the afternoon.
Moe than £650 was raised for St Peter’s Church funds.
A great afternoon in lovely weather.
