NOW that the Pump Track beside Bow Village Hall is almost complete, the next big project in the whole plan to develop the Village Hall and improve the Hall is to upgrade the Hall toilets.

So a Silent Auction is to be held there on Saturday, September 30.  Viewing will be from 6.30pm to 7pm, when the auction will start.  There will be cheese and wine and a lot of fun.

There are at least 60 very varied lots up for grabs, among them an offer to do some ironing, an MoT, a fruit basket and another of cheese, breakfast for four people, a needle felting course and cakes.

The project to improve the Hall has included a mural at the front, an arboretum in a corner of the village field and now the pump track.

The track will open some time in October.

To achieve it £60,000 had to be raised, some of which has come through grants, a lot through fundraising events.
