CREDITON Marie Curie Fundraising Group held a tea party at the home of the Group Chair, Gill Pearn, in Broad Close, Crediton, on June 27.

Gill said afterwards: “We were delighted to raise £470 at our tea party and are so grateful to everyone who attended, donated prizes, baked cakes or helped on the day. Every pound raised will help Marie Curie continue providing vital care and support to people at the end of their lives and their families.

“Our next event will be a collection at Morrisons in Crediton on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1.

“The Crediton Marie Curie Fundraising Group is keen to welcome new volunteers.
