I WOULD like to thank the generous people of Crediton and the surrounding area for donating the magnificent sum of £2,647.02 during Christian Aid Week.

A total of £1,652.72 was raised by volunteers delivering and collecting envelopes house-to-house, £452.43 was raised at the collection at Morrisons and £152.84 at the collection in Crediton High Street.

The rest was raised at the local churches.
