CHERITON Fitzpaine Parish Hall held its Christmas Market in December and was packed with stalls and customers.

This was the last chance to buy the 2019 Cheriton Fitzpaine Calendar, which has been well-received.

The Garden Club ran a cake stall, which raised £280, and Mary Burchmore, on behalf of the WI sold preserves and mince pies to the value of £180.

The raffle had some magnificent prizes and brought in £376.

Father Christmas held sway in his grotto, and lunches and teas were sold out.

A total of £1,455 was raised for the parish hall.
