LAPFORD AFC Christmas Bingo, which included a grand draw, attracted more than 100 players.

Organiser Adrian Mills said the bingo prizes were valued at £795, large turkeys for a full house, two lines gave the winners large tins of shortbread and a large gammon joint, and for one line winners had a large Christmas pudding and a chicken.

The two flyer winners received even more! Adrian said that £125 was given out for double calls, so although it was a truly great festive event, there was only a small profit for Football Club funds.

The £200 Jackpot was not won, so will go forward to the next bingo which will take place on Friday, February 1, eyes down at 8pm.

After the bingo caller Hazel Evely was presented with a bouquet for being the caller for more than 10 years, as she has now retired.
