THE popular annual St Nicholas Fair took place on Saturday, November 22 and saw both an early start and lunchtime rush.

The biggest fundraising event of the year for Crediton Parish Church, there were many stalls, a Silent Auction, Grand Tombola and refreshments throughout.

The Crediton branch of ELF, Exeter Leukaemia Fund, had a stall selling knitted items plus Christmas cards and other items.  AQ 8604

There was a mountain of jigsaws, even after many had been sold as well as the usual jigsaws and games, jewellery, cakes and produce, Christmas decorations and cards and children's toys, hardback books, ceramics and giftware.

Andy Wills Photography had a stand of lovely images and sold some of his 2026 calendars which feature local scenes.

Anne Jerman, on behalf of Crediton Parish Church, said it was a very happy event and raised £1,450 for the outreach and mission of the Church.
