CREDITON Police is appealing for witnesses or information after the theft of two Speedway motorbikes and mechanics tools from a vehicle parked securely but unattended in Crediton.

The bikes, which are very distinctive, were stolen from a red Citroen Dispatch van parked in Prince of Wales Road, Crediton, overnight of Wednesday/Thursday, October 25/26.

Both bikes were orange/blue with JAWA frames. One had a GM engine and the other a PRJ engine.

Anyone able to offer information regarding the theft or whereabouts of the bikes is asked to call the police on 101 or email: [email protected] .
