A POLICE appeal has been issued after a hit and run incident in Copplestone, this morning, Friday, June 30.

A man in his 40s had been standing next to his broken down vehicle when the "dark coloured" car collided with him and fled the scene.

The incident happened at Bewsley Hill, Copplestone, at about 8.50am.

Police are appealing for information and anyone who can help should telephone 101, quoting log 157 of 30/6/17.
