CREDITON, like many Devon market towns, could see parking meters installed in its High Streets under proposals being considered by Devon County Council.
Nine towns in Devon already have pay and display meters in their High Streets but Edward Chorlton, Devon's director for environment, economy and culture, has made the suggestion that all 28 market towns have pay and display meters.
The recommendation was made at a recent meeting of Devon County Council's cabinet.
