THERE was fun and food at St Matthew’s Church at Coldridge when a Pancake Praise event was held.

The Shrove Tuesday event included a short service, with plenty of people taking part in the making of the pancakes, which were then enjoyed by those who went along.

Rev Lindsey Starrs of the North Creedy Benefice led the service and pancake making in the church. More than 40 pancakes were eaten with lemon and sugar and everyone enjoyed fellowship together.
