SATURDAY, February 9 sees the acclaimed company Paddleboat Theatre visit Crediton Arts Centre with its magical family show “Margo and Mr Whatsit”.
The play features a young girl, Sophia, and her imaginary friend Mr Whatsit, who is always there with jokes and games, wherever Sophia is.
But when Sophia’s family moves house, Mr Whatsit finds himself unimagined, and replaced by the glamorous, grown-up Margo. How will the battle between the two imaginary friends resolve itself?
Exeter-based Paddleboat Theatre have been presenting interactive children’s theatre for more than five years, and have received five-star reviews from audiences and critics alike throughout the country, including appearances at the Edinburgh Festival.
Lyn Gardner from the “Guardian” describes them as “young, energetic and inventive”.
“Margo and Mr Whatsit” is at Crediton Arts Centre on February 9 at 3pm.
