CAN there be a more fitting birthday present to celebrate Early Birds' 18 years in existence than the provision of its second successive 'outstanding' Ofsted inspection report?
Early Birds first opened its doors on the September 7, 1992 and since then staff are very proud to say that Early Birds has gone from strength-to-strength.
Julie Neal, Ofsted inspector said "Early Birds remain a consistently excellent practice where it values children".
She was fulsome in her praise of all staff saying "Early Birds has a team of comfortable and knowledgeable practitioners who value and respect each other, working well in a warm, busy but lovely calm setting".
Julie went on to say "It is an awesome and magical place filled with laughter and fun.
"This is the sort of place I would aspire to – it's dynamic!"

Special mention was also made of the continuing improvements to the large outdoor space.
Nursery Manager Shaaron Hooper explained: "Our all-weather "grass" area is proving to be a wonderful asset being both a safety surface and superb play area for all our children, come all weathers.
"We have just recently added a large undercover area and a further one is in the pipeline.
"This encourages more 'free-flow', allowing our children to be able to extend their play in the fresh air in a safe and secure environment.
"Our practice is an 'outstanding' facility where overall provision is of an exceptional high quality."
To register your child we recommend you do it as early as possible. Early Birds are providers of the government's Early Years Entitlement and also redeem a variety of children's vouchers.
The nursery welcomes children from two to five years of age.
