LEARN Devon, Devon County Council’s adult education service, provides adult learning opportunities in the community across Devon.

At Crediton Library, it runs a free maths qualification course, which caters to all levels to achieve up to level two qualifications to help gain work or improve job prospects.

This course takes place every Wednesday morning from 10am to 12 noon.

A similar English qualification course is planned to run at Crediton Library from May onwards. This will take place on Wednesday afternoons. Both the English and maths courses are free.  

Learn Devon can arrange bespoke family learning courses such as maths and English, arts and crafts, outdoor learning, animation and cooking and there are family learning workshops currently taking place in partnership with a number of primary schools across Devon, including Landscore and Hayward’s in Crediton.

A parent or carer must accompany each child.

Crediton Library hosted Learn Devon’s family learning “Colours and Lights” workshop.

Learn Devon can also arrange other bespoke courses for community groups, including: Leisure workshops for parties, special occasions, interest groups, well-being and confidence building activities for adult groups in recovery, isolated or lacking skills for work or communication.
