This year, Hospiscare Open Gardens is entering its 15th year and to-date has raised the awe-inspiring amount of £227,000.
This is thanks to the gardeners who work tirelessly caring for their outdoor spaces, the visitors who turn out in force to marvel at these treasured lands and the friends, family and volunteers who come together to make it all possible.
Last year was a record breaking one for the Open Gardens campaign, raising nearly £30,000 for the charity.
If you would like to open your garden, please contact Hospiscare on 01392 688020 and ask for Susie, who has managed the campaign for five years and would be extremely happy to hear from you. Alternatively, you can email: [email protected] .
Hospiscare Open Gardens lets keen gardeners show off their wares and visitors enjoy a memorable day meandering these precious plots - typically accompanied by a very welcome cup of tea and slice of cake.
