THE internal renovation work at Crediton Congregational Church has finally been completed.

It’s taken more than two years but it’s been well worth the wait.

A stunning new hall has been created upstairs, behind the main church building and is being used by children and young people for their Sunday and weekday activities as well as by other organisations such as The Rowell Centre, which provides day care for adults with learning disabilities, Crediton Community Choir and Slimming World to name a few.

There is a large kitchen adjoining the hall which means the venue is suitable and available for functions and meetings for up to 100 people.

At the same time, two smaller meeting rooms suitable for up to 15 people have been created downstairs with additional toilets and a small servery kitchen.

Meals can be prepared in the larger kitchen upstairs and be sent down in a lift to this smaller kitchen.

The church is so delighted with the renovations that they have organised an open morning on Saturday, June 16 to which everyone is invited.

You can just drop in any time between 10am and 12.30pm, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a piece of cake, take a look at the new rooms and see what else happens at the church.
