HUNDREDS of people enjoyed watching a film on a very large screen in Newcombes Meadow in Crediton last year.

The Open Air Cinema was staged by the Town Team as part of CredFest 2017.

Due to the success of last year’s event, the Town Team will be showing the film “Beauty and the Beast” from 9pm on Friday, June 8.

Belle (Emma Watson) is taken prisoner by a beast (Dan Stevens). She befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the beast’s hideous exterior, to recognise the kind and true prince on the inside.

It is free to attend and those attending are advised to take a cushion and blanket.?Hot drinks and snacks will be on sale.
